A large crowd attended with 42,000 sheep yarded.  Sheep presented in excellent condition, considering the dry conditions in the area.

Buyers attended from Bendigo, Ballrat, Stawell, Wagga, Loxton, Griffith, Corowa, Nyngan, Naracoorte, Narromine, Temora, Forbes, Parkes, Yarrawonga, Charlton, Mt Gambier, West Wyalong, Deniliquin, Nhill and Barellan.

JAMESTOWN SHEEP MARKET REPORT 13NOV08
 
An approximate yarding of 15,000 sheep at the Elders only yarding at Jamestown today. With a small crowd attending the sale started well with the wether lambs selling to a strong demand with stubble paddocks now available. With a limited number of young ewes available prices eased with the top young ewes to $72.00.

JAMESTOWN SHEEP MARKET REPORT 06NOV08
 
An approximate yarding of 18,000 sheep. Average gallery of buyers attended with buyers from Nhill to Kimba and all the normal and local buyers. Wether lambs kept to a firm rate and topped at $66.00. Demand for the best local bred young ewes remained firm with good competition from DMD Nhill and some competition from northern croppers that may be going back to sheep breeding.
